Manakamana Darshan Temple has its own charm and importance among the Hindus. This temple is believed to be resided by the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, incarnation of Goddess Parvati. “Manakamana” which in Nepalese language means the true thing that the heart desires, and as the name suggests it is believed that the goddess Bhagwati who is being resided at Manakamana temple, grants the wishes of all devotees who make the trip to this temple to worship her.

Manakamana Temple lies at the top of the hill, 12 km south of the historic Gorkha district and is situated at the overwhelming ridge of 1300 metres above from the sea level. This temple is approximately 140 km west of the capital Kathmandu somewhere in between the way to Pokhara and Kathmandu in the Prithvi Highway.

Reaching this temple is recommended by bus and it takes like 3-4 hours of drive to reach Kurintar which is like 105 km from the capital Kathmandu, there people can either choose to trek or use the cable car service. In the past people had to trek for at least 3 hours to reach the temple but now things are quite easy, people can use the cable car service to reach to the summit to visit this temple from the Kurintar. The cable car service rides over the distance of 2.8 km and it takes less than 12 minutes to reach the temple.

Besides religious and cultural importance Manakamana Darshan has many other things to offer to its visitors. One who visit this temple can view the breathtaking Mount Annapurna and Ganesh Himal, the stunning river valleys of Marsyangdi and Trisuli, astonishing views of deep valleys, greeneries and terraced fields etc. Because of these features this temple is not only famous among Hindus but also to the foreign visitors who visit Nepal for the purpose of vacation and holidays.

Arrival in Nepal

Pick up from TIA and Transfer to Hotel. After refreshment you will have a short walk to Thamel tourist hub around the historical site and evening join for Aarati Puja also Gangaarati in Pashupati . Rudravishekam: 18.00 pm

Visit Pashupatinath and afternoon fly to Pokhara

Temple opening time:
Morning Darshan: from 5.00 am to 11.00 am

Early morning you will drive to airport for the Everest flight and on the way back visit Pashupatinath Temple again . you will return back to hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast you will go for Swoyambhunath (Monkey Temple). After Swambhunath you will go Budhanilakantha where you will see and pay homage to sleeping lord Vishnu. After lunch transfer to airport fly to Pokhara. Overnight stay at hotel.

Breakfast at hotel Excursion to Sarangkot Hight for Sunrise and Mountain View Half day Sightseeing at Pokhara Valley Sightseeing Point – Bidyabasini Temple, Seti Gorge, Annapurna Historic Museum, David’s fall, Gupteshwor Cave and Famous Fewa Lake. Pokhara to Kathamndu

Morning  breakfast drive back to Kuringtar which is about 110 Km and will take 3.5 hrs drive. Ride Cable Car to Manakamana Temple approx. 10 minutes. Process to Puja and Manakamana Mata Darshan After Puja, Lunch at Manakamana Restaurant Return back to Kurintar Station by Cable Car continues drive to Kathmandu.  Check in hotel at Kathmandu .Dinner and Overnight stay.

Kathmandu-Nagarkot

Early morning you will drive to airport for the Everest flight .After breakfast, visit seven world heritage sites  Kathmandu Darbarsquire and shopping afternoon check out the hotel visit Doleswor Mahadev temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square 18km from the city and then drive to Nagarkot for overnight stay.

Final departure

Early morning sunrise view from the hotel .You have breakfast in hotel and depending on your departure time we transfer you to the TIA for final departure back to home. Service end.
