Pashupatinath Darshan Temple is viewed as one of the most holy, ancient and clerical temple among the Hindus. This sacred temple is situated at five km north east of the capital Kathmandu on the bank of the sacred river Bagmati. This is the very temple, which is considered to be resided by non other than the greatest god of Hindus, the god of destruction Lord Shiva.

This temple and the area in which this temple is located, which is called Pashupati Area dates back to 753 AD and has been listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Each and every year thousands of Hindu visitors visit our capital Kathmandu to visit this temple, to gain the holy blessings of Lord Shiva. This temple and the Pashupatinath Darshan area both are the most influential and substantial pilgrimage site for the Hindus.

Things quickly began to pick up the pace in this area on the occasion of Maha Shiva Ratri, a festival on which Lord Shiva is worshiped by Hindus. This day Pashupatinath Darshan area gets more lively. Hindu devotees from all over the globe gathers here to worship the holy lingam situated inside the temple to please Lord Shiva. The sacred lingam which is situated inside this temple has four faces and each faces represents various aspects of Lord Shiva and all of them are knowned by their own unique name: Sadyojata, Vamdeva, Tatpurusha and Aghor.

This temple’s overwhelming architectural elegance, stands as a symbol of faith, religion, culture and tradition. Besides this, Pashupatinath Darshan area is peaceful and adorned with trees and small shops which sells worshiping materials. Because of these features this temple is famous among not only Hindus but also to other visitors from different religion. The name and fame of this temple inside the capital is so great that one who is new to Kathmandu, is often recommended to visit this temple. This Pashupatinath Darshan temple has become a part of our country Nepal and is often regarded as the Guardian Deity of Nepal.

 Arrival in Nepal

Pick up from TIA and Transfer to Hotel. After refreshment you will have a short walk to Thamel  tourist hub around the historical site and evening join for Aarti Puja also Ganga Arati in Pashupati .  Back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel

 

Visit PashupatiNath and afternoon shopping

Temple opening time:
Morning Darshan: from 5.00 am to 11.00 am
Rudrabhishekam: 18.00 pm
Aarati Puja: 6.30 pm to 820.00pm

Early morning you will drive to airport for the Everest flight  and  on the way back visit Pashupatinath Temple again . You will return back to hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast you will go for Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). After Swayambhunath you will go to Budhanilkantha where you will see and pay homage to sleeping lord Vishnu. After lunch free day and shopping .Overnight stay at hotel.


Visit
Kailashnath Mahadev Statue and Doleshwor Mahadev temple-Nagarkot

After breakfast we will drive to Kailashnath Mahadev Statue is the world’s tallest Shiva statue. It is situated in Sanga, the border of Bhaktapur and Kavrepalanchowk districts in Nepal which is about 20 km from Kathmandu and visit to Doleshwor Mahadev temple head part of Kedarnath located in Uttarakhand, India in Bhaktapur .Lunch in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. In Bhaktapur you will see ancient Newari lifestyle, number of temples and fascinating arts and crafts and evening drive to Nagarkot. Overnight stay at hotel


Final departure

Today you will start 5 AM, to Nagarkot view tower, a famous hill station to see the sunrise and 360 degree panoramic views. You have breakfast in hotel and then depending on your departure time we drive you to  the TIA for final departure back home or extensions of the trip as your wish
